Based in Porto, Portugal, Geni.Creative Studio was founded in 2024 by Geni Gomes — a creative soul with an open heart.
A former graphic designer and sushiwoman (yes, really!), I chose to slow down, reduce stress, and embrace a more mindful, relaxed lifestyle. I set out to reconnect with old passions and explore new ones, with a special love for colors and textures, focusing on creating unique, beautifully designed pieces for interiors. Each creation is a reflection of my journey, blending artistry, craftsmanship, and a touch of personality into every thread.
INSPIRATION
I have always been fascinated by how spaces influence what we feel. Light, textures, and materials have the ability to create atmosphere, comfort, and memory—and it was from this sensitivity that my artistic work was born.
Through manual textile techniques, I transform wool, yarns, and texture into contemporary pieces designed to interact with the space in a subtle and sensory way.
The manual process is essential in my practice: I am interested in the time, repetition, and intuition present in each creation. Between organic forms, abstract compositions, and a palette that oscillates between soft and vibrant tones, I seek to create pieces with presence, balance, and their own identity.
Inspired by the silent beauty of everyday life and the harmony of well-thought-out interiors, I develop works that live between art and decoration, bringing depth, warmth, and character to the spaces they inhabit.
